Plus 2 — Low Start (플러스 2 시스템)Starts of the Plus system near the corner (5, 10, 15)

This is the form of the Plus system used when the start value is below 20 (when the cue ball is very close to the corner). On the short–long–long path that aims at the short cushion (앞돌리기, taking ball 2 from the front and going to the short cushion, or a bricole shot) the calculation is again an addition: Arrival = Start + Aim. The difference is that the short-cushion numbers change with the start: at start 15 the short cushion rises by 10 per diamond, at 10 by 7.5, at 5 by 5. It is called 'Plus 2' because, when the cue ball is sent from where it lies to the corner (point 0), it comes back to its cushion about 2 diamonds beyond the point it started from. Some players use the name 'Plus 2 (플러스투)' for a different system that calculates the midpoint between the start and the reference point numbered 6; that system is described separately.

When? When the cue ball is very close to the top corner of the left long cushion (start 5–15) and the ball has to go to the top short cushion, the right long cushion and the left long cushion (3rd cushion).
