Start at the 3rd diamond of the long cushion, aim at the middle diamond of the short cushion (5). The line shifts 5 diamonds along the long cushion and the ball comes to the opposite corner.

A two-cushion system that aims at the short cushion first: the cue ball goes to the nearby short cushion, crosses to the opposite long cushion and comes back to the (near) long cushion it started from: short–long–long. The rule is a single sentence: the cue ball's line shifts along the near long cushion by as many diamonds as the number aimed at on the short cushion. In other words, Arrival = Start + Aim. The short cushion is numbered at half-diamond intervals: corner 1, 1st diamond 3, middle diamond 5, 3rd diamond 7; each short-cushion diamond gives a shift of 2 diamonds on the long cushion. The name comes from the number rising by 2 between the corner and the 1st diamond. The difference from the diamond system: in the diamond system the aim is on the long cushion and Aim = Start − Arrival (long–short–long); here the aim is on the short cushion, the calculation is an addition (Aim = Arrival − Start), the start and the arrival are read on the same long cushion with the same diamond scale (1 per diamond), and the path goes over only two cushions and ends on the 3rd cushion. The Korean system of the same name (플러스 투) is a different system: it is a carom-table system that aims at the long cushion when the start value is below 20. The difference from the Plus system on this site lies in the numbering: there the short cushion has corner 0 and 3rd diamond 90, here corner 1 and 3rd diamond 7 (1 per half diamond).

When? When the cue ball is near a long cushion and ball 2 or ball 3 is near the same long cushion; if the direct path is closed, go to the short cushion first and come back to the same long cushion with two cushions. If the point reached on the 3rd cushion is known, the path can also be extended to 3-cushion shots off the long cushion.

Watch outSystems that go to the short cushion first are sensitive to speed and spin; adjustment is needed from table to table.

Watch outWith very small and very large aim numbers (2 and 6–7), the error grows if no spin and speed correction is made.
