Aim = 4 + 0 − 2 = 2.

The cue ball starts in front of one short cushion, aims at the opposite short cushion, comes back off the long cushion and arrives back at the start short cushion on the 3rd cushion. It is a very simple system recommended for starts from the short cushion, which can be used with different amounts of spin; it takes its name from the arrival scale rising by 1.5 per diamond.

When? When the cue ball is near a short cushion and the 3rd-cushion arrival is on the same short cushion; for the short–long–short path.
