Argüello's pase bola reference-position system, this time along the length of the table: ball 2 is in front of the top short cushion, the cue ball is on the left long cushion side. The cue ball takes ball 2 thin and goes to the top short cushion (1st cushion), the right long cushion (2nd cushion) and the bottom short cushion (3rd cushion).

When? When ball 2 is in front of a short cushion, close to the corner, the cue ball is on the left long cushion side, and the 3rd cushion has to be the opposite short cushion.
